Ginger, also known as “Adrak,” is a rhizome, or underground stem, used as a spice and a folk medicine, with a long history of use in India and other parts of the world. It’s a flowering plant with annual pseudostems and narrow leaf blades. Ginger is a good source of Vitamin B6, C, Potassium, Manganese, and dietary fiber.
